Kuroash Esmaili

I was born and raised in Long Beach, CA. Growing up I loved science and building things. When it came to choosing an afterschool program I always signed up for Science Adventures. My Legos turned into Erector sets. In high school I became valedictorian. In college I dabbled in dance and vocals while studying theatre acting before settling in and graduating with three degrees in Business: Marketing, Management, and Operations Management. After, I spent time in different restaurants learning how to follow recipes and experiment with my own as a Pastry Chef creating dishes.

Then I discovered LearningFuze, a way to pull the curtain back on computer software. Getting into software development was an opportunity to learn and solve more complex problems that were missing from my previous career path. I'm excited to bring my ecclectic experiences to the table to find unique solutions. And what I love most is the commraderie amongst the coding community to help each other learn and grow through mentorship and resources like MDN and Stack Overflow.

My strengths as a programmer include problem solving, collaboration, creativity, perseverance, and curiosity.

My hobbies include photography, programming, robotics, reading, writing, board games, and exploring the natural world.
